I want to thank Jenny and the team at motive8 for all their effort, support and enthusiasm she has put into my programme and mission to be fit and fifty, not fat and fifty!

Without Jenny’s help it just wouldn’t have been possible for me to achieve the weight loss and fitness targets set for my big ‘FIVE-0’ birthday. When the idea of motive8 first came about in 2011, we had one main goal. To create an exercise community where people enjoyed to train. We’re a bunch of results driven personal trainers, but the key to getting results is to get people to enjoy what they are doing. Results don’t always have to mean getting a PB in a 10k, losing 4 stone (although we’re pretty good at achieving these types of goals too), results can simply mean being more active and eating healthier. Our success with our clients speaks for it’s self.

We’re not the type of trainers to turn up, put you through your paces and buzz off, nor do we keep our trade secrets close to our chests! We love to share our knowledge so you can achieve your goals and want to support you every step of the way. We’re in this for the long run….are you?

motive8 North are a health and fitness company specialising in personal training group personal training and exercise classes in Leeds. The company was formed through the partnership of a successful personal training company, Jenny Cromack Personal Training in Leeds and motive8 Group Ltd, a London based health and fitness company.

Jenny has been a successful personal trainer in Leeds for the past 10 years and has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years. Jenny originally worked for motive8 as a freelance personal trainer and when motive8 discovered she had an ambition to open her own personal training studio, the partnership to create motive8 North was a natural progression. In the past 4 years the company has gone from strength to strength now delivering over 400 personal training sessions per month.

 

We currently have two state of the personal training studios in Leeds. Our Marshall Court studio is based on the edge of Leeds City Centre and specialises in Personal Training. It also has a small gym membership and hosts exercise classes such as circuit training, Fat Blast HIIT and boot camps. Our second studio is based at the Urban Splash development, Saxton which is on the outskirts of the city centra and also specialises in personal training. Saxton is a semi-private personal training studio so great for those who may not wish to exercise with other people around.

A huge element of our business is based around small group personal training and we also perform home personal training sessions if clients require.

We believe we are one of the leading personal training companies in Leeds; what sets us apart from the crowd are the results we achieve.

How do we achieve these results? Through providing constant support and education for our clients. We are not the type of personal trainers who just turn up, do your session and disappear until next time. We provide bespoke exercise and nutritional plans along side constant support from your trainer to ensure our clients achieve the results they desire.

Whether you choose 1:1 or group personal training your journey starts with an initial consultation so we can discuss your individual needs and how we are going to achieve your goals. Tailored, personalised workouts, lifestyle and nutritional support all come as standard.

During your first training session we perform a series of movement screens to make sure you are moving efficiently, and help us to address any imbalances. We also perform a health assessment based on your goals, this is reviewed every 6 weeks to make sure you’re making the right progress towards your goals.

Even if you’re not in a training session, we’re always at the end of a phone to support you. Feel like you can’t be bothered to go to the gym today, then pick up the phone, and we’ll give you some motivational words of wisdom to get you there!
